Shipping Info

Canadian Shipping

We ship across Canada!

Shipping from Keremeos, BC,  Canada

Shipping will be offered at a flat rate fee for 2026. Please note, shipping fees on multiple orders, are not refunded.  If you would like to make a second (or third, or fourth ;) ) order, we kindly ask that you place another order through the website, as we do not answer orders sent by email.  *We do not make money on shipping!* . No refunds on shipping charges also stops the "one and done" check out  that happens during a website opening, where people go through the check out process with only one variety, in order to ensure they get the variety they want. Another strategy we use to combat the Dahlia frenzy. The added shipping charges also covers the added weight of your shipping box, as we do try to ship your tubers all in one shot, although it is not guaranteed. If you make multiple orders and select the pick up option as a way of by-passing the added shipping charges, your order will be refunded immediately, and your order will be cancelled, without notice. We do add bonus tubers as a way of saying "thank you" for your understanding. We are unable to answer emails or social media messages requesting a refund on shipping fees for multiple orders, due to the increasingly busy time of year. If you do make multiple orders, please put the order numbers in the memo box at check out. This helps us tremendously in making sure it all goes in the same box!

We have decided, after careful deliberation not to offer early shipping. Early shipping impacts when we wake our tubers for disease monitoring, and will change our ability to ensure your tubers are not presenting with bacterial infection prior to shipping. Your tubers may also be dormant when shipped, if shipped too early. Shipping generally begins by mid-March, depending on temperatures and according to zone, beginning with the Western provinces. We not only consider temperatures in your area, but we also watch temperatures between your area and our area. For example: if you live in Ontario, and temperatures in Manitoba are still too cold for shipping, we will send your Dahlia tubers when it warms up in Manitoba too, so your tubers don't freeze in transit. Orders are sent out on Mondays and Tuesdays only, to increase the chances that your order doesn't get stuck in a transfer facility over the weekend. Don't worry! Dahlia planting doesn't start until May long weekend in most parts of the country! Shipping generally concludes by the end of April. Due to the busy-ness of the Spring shipping season, emails or messages asking when you will receive your tubers cannot be answered.  You will receive an order confirmation when you order, email shipping notification when your order ships, and a tracking number., so please make sure you add us to your safe contacts so you don't miss our emails! We know how excited you are to get your tubers and we're just as excited to get them to you!  We're working hard to get them to you as early as possible! We promise! Please check your orders as soon as you receive them!

Please let us know within 48 hrs. of delivery if you have any questions or concerns. After 48 hrs. your tubers are your responsibility so please ensure you know how to care for them if you are unable to plant them right away. We receive delivery notification when your parcel arrives, so we know when we can breathe again! Please ensure you read the terms and conditions page for more information on our policy!

Local order pick up will be porch pick up, beginning in early May. Please note, if you are coming from areas outside of the immediate Keremeos/Cawston area, choosing shipping means you will get your order sooner, as we generally finish BC shipping in mid March. You will receive a notification when your order is ready, and it is up to you to email us and let us know the date and time you will be picking up your order, so we can put it out for you.  Please do not arrive without making arrangements first. We will leave your order on the front step.  Please note, this is somewhat of a risk. We are often not monitoring our front yard, although there are cameras everywhere. If you arrive and your package isn't there, we are able to demonstrate that we put it out on the step, and that is where our responsibility ends. As much as we love meeting and chatting with you, we may not be available when you come. We both work off the farm, as well as work the farm and April and May are  incredibly busy times of the year. We appreciate your understanding, as we try to work out how to be as accommodating as possible for pick ups, and balance farm work, shipping season and off farm employment. We are not open for tours as we are a working farm. There is equipment running and protection dogs that work the property. For insurance purposes, we are not permitted to have client tours.
